Srinagar\31\\: Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani continues to remain under house arrest on 31 July and he was today 15th time forcibly stopped from participating in the Friday congregational prayers while as by placing the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat general secretary Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Hurriyat spokesman Ayaz Akbar and district president for Srinagar and Ganderbal Raja Mehraj-ud-din under house arrest and by detaining Tehreek-e-Hurriyat district president Islamabad Mir Hafizullah in Achabal police station, district president Bandipora Rayees Ahmad Mir in Bandipora police station, the police today tried very hard to fail the solidarity program of the Hurriyat conference. While terming the government action as hooliganism and state terrorism, Hurriyat spokesman condemned it in strong words and said that since the Mufti Sayeed came into power, the restrictions on the movement of the pro-freedom people have been tightened and the graph of human rights violation has shown an alarming trend. Ayaz Akbar said that all the beautiful pre-election slogans of Mufti Sahab and his daughter Mehbooba Mufti have proven just mirage and they now stands helpless before the BJP. He said that if anything like conscience is still left with Mufti Mohammad Sayeed then he has no other option left then to resign from his post because despite having the chair of a Chief Minister ship he has nothing in his hands and every order come from the Indian home ministry which he has to accept without any argument. Hurriyat said that to prevent the celebration of solidarity day program for the Jammu Muslims, the police today besides placing Hurriyat leadership under house arrest, many Hurriyat activists and workers were detained in different police stations and many houses were raided in this regard.
