Srinagar\17\\: While strongly condemning the terrifying nocturnal raids, arrest of three innocent youths, threatening, harassing of local people, thrashing and injuring of 5 persons who were protesting the arrests and atrocities by the 14 RR Indian army in Zuban Gujjar Basti in Chuntimulla are of Bandipora district, Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani termed it as frustration of the Indian occupational forces and said that this cruel and inhuman face is the reality of India in Kashmir. He said that the cruel and merciless character of the Indian occupational forces in Bandipora is a normal process in Jammu & Kashmir which the Kashmiris are facing from last 68 years in general and from last 25 years in particular. India has always used its military might and cruel tactics to silence the peaceful voices of the Kashmiri nation but they have miserably failed in that so far. Geelani sahab said that according to the locals, the Indian army personals stationed at Chuntimulla 14RR camp in the dark of the night barged in the residential houses of Zuban Gujjar Basti in a very terrifying manner and without any reason beat-up the inmates of the houses. The army and SOG personals vandalized the house of Noorani Khan and arrested three members of his family. Locals of the area said that when the people on the next day came out of their houses and held peaceful protest demonstration against the midnight raids and arrest of local youths, the Indian army personals used excessive force and thrashed the protesting people and they doesn’t even speared the women flock which resulted in severe injuries to the local people. While strongly condemning these proactive activities of the Indian army, Geelani sahab said that harassing and abusing the common people on the gun point is not any kind of bravery or heroism and these cruelties have neither deterred us in the past and nor will it stop us to achieve our goal in the future also. While lashing out at the pro-Indian political parties like PDP, Congress and NC, the Hurriyat Chairman said that these people are responsible for the miseries and hardships of the Kashmiri people because they are political heads of those inhuman forces who showed their cruel face in Bandipora today. Geelani sahab said that since the inception of the RSS-PDP government in Jammu & Kashmir, the communal and occupational forces are feeling free to do whatever they want and they have made the lives of the Kashmiri people as hell. The human rights violation graph in the state has shown an alarming rise in the present regime. While terming the reaction and hue and cry of the National Conference over the Bandipora incident as crocodile tears, the pro-freedom leader of Kashmir said that NC is the main culprit of the present condition of the Kashmiri people because they are the people who betrayed with the people of Jammu & Kashmir and sold their precious sacrifices for the chair of power. Geelani sahab said that Bandipora like inhuman incidents and worst of that had happened hundreds of times in the periods of Farooq Abdullah and his son Mr. Omer Abdullah when they were heading the unified command council of occupational forces in the state and they are directly responsible for the massacres, miseries and the genocides of the Kashmiri people which happened in their rule. Geelani sahab said that today Mr. Omer Abdullah is off the power and he is now issuing pro-Kashmir statements to deceive the people like Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and PDP were doing while sitting in opposition but how can the people forget his autocratic regime when he used to be the so-called CM of the state and was openly defending the atrocities of the occupational forces of India in Jammu & Kashmir. Geelani sahab said that all the pro-Indian political parties PDP, NC, Congress, PC etc. are one and the same for the Kashmiri people because they all play the role of local collaborators of the Indian occupational forces in the state and they are directly responsible for the crime against the humanity which the Indian cruel and autocratic forces are doing in Kashmir. While praising the courage and valor of the Bandipora people who came out on roads and protested against the cruelties and atrocities of the Indian army, Geelani sahab said that oppression is a worst crime but remaining silent on oppression is also a crime. Geelani sahab appealed the people to follow the Bandipora people and held peaceful protest against every oppressive activity of the Indian occupational forces and the police. He said that remaining silent on atrocities of the cruel forces of India encourages them to do more and silently watching the oppression does not suits to a true Muslim.
