The joint resistance leadership has called complete shutdown on Wednesday, March 29against the civilian killings in Chadoora. Asking people to observe complete shutdown on March 29 & protests afterFriday prayers on March 31, Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Omer Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik expressed their deep grief over killing of two youth near encounter site. Blaming Indian forces for their brutalities against civilians, the leaders said that it is outcome of army chiefs’ threat statement that forces are now carrying the civilian killings.

Blaming state administration for chaos in state, resistance leadership said that under well thought design, forces and state police is killing innocent civilians and warned that incase killings is not stopped, we will call people to resist this killing spree. Lashing at authorities, leadership said that so-called state administration & Indian authorities will have to face dire consequences.

They are gagging the genuine voices through barrel of gun and pushing people to the wall, said they in a joint statement. The officials and forces personals involved in these killings are neither tried for their crimes nor till now even a single official was punished or brought to book, said resistance leaders.

We will prefer martyrdom and won’t succumb to any pressure, said joint leadership in their statement. Enough is enough and we won’t tolerate these serial killings and it is better to face this mayhem once for all, come what may, said leadership.

Demanding impartial probe in to Chadoora episode and exemplary action against assassins, the leadership said that until the international community and human rightist organization take their cognizance in these gruesome episodes, the state of uncertainty will haunt the whole region.
